I started making and selling potholders when I was six-years-old. Four years later I hired my siblings to help. Now we make lots of potholders!
When I was twelve, I started wholesaling my potholders. I currently supply retail stores and galleries in Ahoskie, Aulander, Gates, and Sunbury, North Carolina.
Retail ...
And I'm ready to expand to more locations.
If you own a gift shop, country store, artisan gallery, kitchen shop, or other type of retail store I know you'll love offering my potholders to your customers!
Suggested retail is $7.99 to $9.99 which gives you a 37% to 50% profit!
We all have daily household chores and animal chores.
My parents give each of us chores based on our age and abilities.
My youngest sister started collecting eggs when she was two-years-old.
We love all our animals but we really enjoy our chickens because of the fresh eggs they provide.
Our family can eat as many as two dozen eggs for breakfast! We also use the eggs to make our own Mayonnaise and Salad Dressings.
We raise a few vegetables, but most of our effort goes into our animals.
We have Rabbits, Chickens, Guineas, Goats, Pigs and Cows. We also have more Rabbits because they multiply like...Rabbits.
This is Blossom.
That's the cow's name not my sister's name.
She just had a calf last week, the cow, not my sister.
My oldest sister takes care of the Rabbits.
We've had as many as sixty Rabbits at one time because like I said earlier, they multiply like Rabbits!
My dad is a pastor and my mom homeschools us through Classical Conversations. She's also one of the Directors or our local CC Group.
My parents also sell doTERRA Essential Oils. We use them every day!
All of us love living out in the country!
Our entire county's population is less than 11,000.
My parents bought the house that my grandfather built almost 30-years-ago.
My great-grandmother owns land nearby that has been in the family for over 100 years!
